Rose’ All Day: Reimagined

The Yards D.C. didn’t allow the various stay at home orders deter from their annual celebration of all things rose’, they simply reimagined the event and made it virtual with a twist.

As a repeat attendee of the Rose’ All Day festivity, I was curious about how they would be able to recreate the magic of the in person event; fortunately it was just as enjoyable.

Attendees purchased one of three available kits that included either 1, 2 or 3 bottles of rose’ as well as an array of pink hued accoutrements to dazzle your decor.

Never one to shy away from a theme, my friends and I created a very intimate gathering (just us 3), dressed according to the celebration (as always you can find outfit details over on my S.O.S. page) and took lots of photos to commemorate the occasion. From 1-4p, The Yards held events via Instagram that included live DJ sets, decor tips, how to make a flower crown and calligraphy class. It was structured without being strict. You could create any variation of Rose’ All Day to suit your fancy yet you still felt like you were there and apart of an event. Be sure to check out the Rose’ All Day highlight on their Instagram page, you may see someone you know! 😉

Kudos to The Yards for curating yet another amazing event that supported local business and donated to Black Lives Matter DC and the Capital Pride Alliance.
