I shared my goals for this program in my initial post and gave you a mini update last week, so let’s go over my real results in full detail. I often hear from you all that I am not that big or I look small or some variation of those. I spoke about this on Instagram in depth but since my patella fracture and subsequent emergency surgery I have acquired some additional curves that took some getting used to. Some of these curves are visibly apparent and others I hide very well in my clothing selections. I am considered tall for a woman so the proportions are not as extreme but I assure you the scale definitely keeps me informed. I am now at a point where I embrace the curves fully but I still desire to be soft but toned. When I started this program I weighed 217.9lbs. I am happy to say that I have seen steady progress based on the scale and inches lost.

Let’s talk food. I am a faux foodie. I am not starting any program that does not allow me to fully indulge that side. I am happy to report the achievements I have made on the program have not hindered my taste buds being happy at all. I even ate chocolate cake y’all. Chocolate cake. I am not even a chocolate person but I had a craving for it and so I ate it! One of my favorite quotes from Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion is when Joel mentions “Fact is, most diets are extremely narrow with regard to food choices and variety, and many even limit entire macronutrients altogether over the course of the entire program (think low-carb and low-fat diets). Three months with no carbs? No thanks. Such practices not only are entirely unnecessary, but make for a miserable, unsustainable experience.” We have been in the house for months, this was not the time to deprive ourselves of anything. I believe that the flexibility offered in the Always Eat After 7 program is why I have been able to be successful and stick with it. The book gives you plenty of recipes but also tips on how to work with the food that you already enjoy. In addition to the baked potato above, here are some of the meals I made while being on the Always Eat After 7 program.

In my next and final post about my experience about the Always Eat After 7 challenge I will provide my current weight and my thoughts since participating in the program. Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion is now available to purchase. Learn more about the book and how to purchase here. Have you tried the challenge? What are you loving about the book and what have been your results?
